The plot of 9JKL follows Josh Roberts, who lives in an apartment squeezed between his parents’ and his brother’s units, making for plenty of intrusive family moments. (I’m sure he wouldn’t mind scoring free rent for a year.)
Executive producer Mark Feuerstein plays Josh and drew inspiration from his own experience living in a New York apartment adjacent to his parents — a scenario many young adults find familiar (though many of us may actually live with our parents rather than next door).
