How to Save a Fortune at Apple: Coupons, Promo Codes, & Tricks

Apple Coupons Promo Codes — Save on Apple Gear

We’re big fans of Apple devices here, but they’re notorious for being tightfisted with coupons and promo codes.

Apple wants to maintain a high-end image, so to cut costs you’ve got to know the tricks!

We checked in with insiders and are now sharing some of Apple’s little-known discounts. Our top tip: combine several of these methods for serious savings.

1. Shop Through Discover & Get 6% Cash-Back

If you hold a Discover card, you can use their cash-back shopping portal to score an impressive 6% cash rebate on purchases at the Apple Store.

Here’s the breakdown: you receive the standard 1% cash back for using your Discover card, plus an extra 5% from the ShopDiscover portal.

If you don’t yet have a Discover card, you can apply for one here.

I’m not suggesting opening cards you don’t need, but if you’re planning a major Apple buy, this could pay off. For instance, 6% cash back on a MacBook Pro could net you around $150!

2. Buy a Discounted Gift Card & Save 1-2%

One of my go-to tricks is purchasing Apple gift cards at a discount through marketplaces like Raise.com. Their platform connects gift card sellers and buyers, with discounts typically between 1–2%.

They’re standard gift cards, so you can redeeem them in-store or online.

3. Teacher & Student Discount – Up to $200!

Apple provides excellent discounts to educators and students. You simply need a valid .edu email. (Tip: many people can obtain an edu email address. Here’s one method…)

Access the education store here. They’re currently offering up to $200 off a new Mac and up to $20 off an iPad.

4. Use Swagbucks

One of the easiest ways to reduce the cost of Apple items is with the Swagbucks rewards program. Many of you already know it, but did you realize you can earn Apple gift cards by completing surveys?

The earnings aren’t huge, but most users can collect around $10 per month in Apple gift cards. Signing up is free and you’ll receive a $5 bonus after your first purchase.

They also run a cash-back shopping portal that pays about 1% on Apple.com orders. So if you don’t have a Discover card, this is a solid alternative.

5. Buy Refurbished – Up to $450 Off!

Many don’t realize Apple maintains a dedicated section of their site selling refurbished products with steep discounts (sometimes as much as $450 off).

I used to be wary of refurbished electronics, but Apple inspects and certifies these items and includes a one-year warranty with them all.

6. Wait for Black Friday/Cyber Monday

Apple’s own store rarely runs deep Black Friday deals, but many retailers that carry Apple products do (Target, Walmart, Best Buy, etc.). Keep an eye on The Penny Hoarder’s Black Friday portal — it’s updated with sales as they’re announced.

We hope these tips help you keep more cash in your pocket! Good luck, Savinly Readers!
