Pizza can feel like an inexpensive go-to — it feeds a crowd and tends to please nearly everyone.
But those costs pile up fast. Add-ons, toppings and sides can transform a spur-of-the-moment “Let’s order pizza!” into a “Wait, I spent HOW much?” scenario.
Luckily for you, I’m something of a specialist when it comes to one specific pizza chain: Domino’s. My friends are always impressed by how often I order — and by how much I save.
It’s time to pass along my tricks. If youadore pizzaas much as I do, you should know about these Domino’s pizza bargains.
1. Subscribe to Domino’s Email

I should give you fair warning about this one.
Once Domino’s starts emailing you, you’ll start to wonder if it’s got eyes everywhere. If it knows you’re parked on the couch Friday night about to binge “House Hunters International.” If it knows it’s 2:30 p.m. on Sunday and a pizza craving has struck.
It’ll show up in your inbox at your weakest, most vulnerable moments.
But the offers in those emails are absolutely worth it.
Those almost-daily messages are full of promo codes. Cheesy Bread for $5.99? Yes, please — I’ll take that dollar knocked off the standard price.
2. Enroll in Piece of the Pie Rewards

Join Domino’s complimentary Piece of the Pie Rewards. For every online order of at least $10, you earn 10 points.
Reach 60 points and you’ll qualify for a free medium, two-topping pizza. Then restart the climb!
I don’t do delivery all the time, but I managed to score my free pizza in around five months — saving roughly $12.
Keep in mind points lapse after six months without activity, so remember to sign in when you place online orders!
3. Opt for Takeout

Domino’s used to limit its carryout deal to Monday through Thursday, but this promotion recently improved — it’s now available every day. Place a carryout order for a large pizza with up to three toppings for only $7.99.
If you’re going to pass by your local Domino’s on your commute home, plan ahead and pick up your steaming order.
4. Always Look at Domino’s Online Coupons

When you land on Dominos.com, don’t jump straight to the menu. Pause at the “Coupons” section first to find specials in your neighborhood.
For instance, while researching this piece: two large, two-topping pizzas normally total about $31. With a coupon, those same pies dropped to just $18.99.
5. Check Your Mail

If you instinctively toss the crumpled stack of coupon inserts without a glance, stop! You might be discarding Domino’s coupons.
I only come across these mailers now and then, but it’s worth a quick skim through the circulars to see if there’s a Domino’s coupon tucked inside.
6. Use a Discounted Gift Card

Trim a few extra dollars by buying gift cards on marketplaces like Raise. At the moment, gift cards sell for around 5% below face value — so a $20 card can be had for about $19.
It might not seem huge, but snagging an e-gift card to save a buck and then using it for a great online deal rapidly adds up.
Your stomach and your bank account will thank you.
