If you’re searching for an excuse to pause your usual happy hour routine, swing by the closest Applebee’s this month for an unbeatable bargain: rock-bottom margaritas.
The restaurant chain has reintroduced the “Dollarita” for April — that’s a margarita for just $1 during the entire month.
How to Score Applebee’s $1 Margaritas This Month
There’s no need to race there at a specific hour: the “Dollarita” is served from opening until closing at participating Applebee’s spots. Simply request one at the bar or ask your server at the table.
Considering Applebee’s standard margarita prices range from $5.99 to $8.99, it’s hard to argue that the dollar margarita isn’t an excellent bargain. Whether it’ll deliver a strong buzz, though, is another question.
Since Applebee’s first rolled out $1 and $2 beverages last October, patrons have pointed out that the specials sometimes feel light on the liquor. When a couple of bargain-seeking pals tried the normally potent Long Island Iced Tea during a different Applebee’s promotion, they described it as a much milder version.
Still, you can sip a handful of drinks with friends without spending much — just don’t forget to tip your bartender appropriately.
P.S. Have a birthday coming up? Join Applebee’s email list and receive a coupon for a complimentary treat on your special day. Sweet reward!
