Please note: The $15 Visa gift card offer has expired. However, you can still signup for Mobilexpressions to earn extra cash.
Don’t worry — I’m not asking you to complete a long, tedious questionnaire. Just a simple way to pocket a quick $15…
Mobile Xpressions has restarted their incentive program and if you install their complimentary mobile app today, they’ll issue you a $15 virtual Visa prepaid card. Pretty straightforward!
MobileXpression is a market research firm that tracks internet use and provides reports to clients about which mobile sites are gaining traction. They’re currently seeking a few thousand smartphone users willing to share the sites they visit on their mobile devices. The sharing happens via a lightweight app installed on your phone and doesn’t demand any active effort from you. You’re free to remove the app anytime if you choose to stop participating.
How it works…
Note: This offer is only available for Android 5.0 or earlier versions
1. Sign up at MobileXpressions here – You’ll be asked for some basic demographic details similar to joining a Nielsen panel. You’ll also indicate what model of phone you own, since their software is compatible with specific devices only.
2. Install the app – The setup appears simple and the app runs quietly in the background like most mobile applications. According to the company, it won’t impact your phone’s performance.
3. Share your usage data – This part requires almost zero effort on your part because the app automatically transmits the relevant information to MobileXpression. They don’t eavesdrop on calls or pry into your private content, but they do log the webpages you visit, links you click, and usage patterns for certain phone activities (for example, how long you text, call durations, and web browsing times).
4. Redeem your reward – MobileXpressions will send you a $15 Visa gift card simply for registering and installing the app. They also offer members chances to win weekly contests and will hold a $100,000 grand prize drawing at year’s end.
Unfortunately my own iPhone wasn’t on the compatible list, but the app worked fine on a friend’s BlackBerry. There are many other supported devices, so check the list to see if your phone qualifies. The company also invites users with unsupported phones to sign up because they’re developing additional versions and will notify you when your device becomes eligible.
If you’re looking for other quick ways to earn small rewards from your phone, check out an easy way to make 15 if you own a smartphone for another option. And if you want something different, you might like to get paid for a power outage as an alternate way to earn.
Best of luck Savinliers!
Full disclosure: MobileXpressions is a sponsor of Savinly. While we genuinely think they offer a worthwhile program, we want to be transparent that they’re a sponsor and help support Savinly’s community growth.
