Grocery shopping is a chore everyone has to tackle, but that doesn’t mean you must handle every step yourself.
Services like Shipt, Instacart and meal delivery subscriptions will bring groceries to your door — but these conveniences often come with added expenses like membership dues, shipping fees, delivery charges or mandatory tips.
Grocery pickup is a more affordable way to outsource shopping. With pickup orders, you typically won’t be prompted to tip and you avoid shipping or delivery surcharges.
All that’s required is a short trip to the store to collect your order. Many retailers even provide curbside pickup so you can stay in your car.
