Chipotle Mexican Grill is running a fresh sweepstakes where 3,100 members of Chipotle Rewards — matching the chain’s 3,100 locations — will score complimentary meals for a year.
Chipotle Rewards participants are automatically entered to win with any in-restaurant or digital purchase through Sunday, Jan. 15. (There’s a $5 minimum.) You can submit an entry once per day.
If you haven’t joined Chipotle Rewards yet, signing up is simple. It’s a loyalty program where fans rack up points on every order and redeem them for perks.
‘Freepotle’ and ‘Food Drops’
Wondering what prompted this? Chipotle is debuting a new rewards “food hack” called “Freepotle.” This benefit lets members receive up to 10 complimentary “food drops” over the course of 2023.
By “food drop,” Chipotle refers to freebies like guacamole on your burrito, queso blanco, chips, double protein, a fountain drink or other add-ons.
The sweepstakes is designed to put the spotlight on this new member advantage.
Once the promotion wraps up Sunday, winners will be picked at random — 3,100 in total. Chipotle says these “Free Chipotle for a Year” prizes are the largest single giveaway in the chain’s history.
Each victor receives one free entree per week for a year — choose from a burrito, burrito bowl, tacos or a quesadilla. Chipotle values the prize at approximately $517.40.
That’s a generous supply of guac.
