Black Friday is looming, and while many shoppers are hunting for deals on phones, tablets, or a larger TV, our minds are wandering toward bacon and eggs.
For a very short window, Denny’s is offering a highly limited T-shirt that doubles as a yearlong breakfast pass. The chain’s “Everyday Value Tee” includes a QR code sewn into the garment. Scan that wearable coupon and you can claim an Everyday Value Slam meal for free every single day for an entire year.
Denny’s values the shirt at nearly $2,200, but it will be sold for — yes, really — just $5.99.
Here’s the kicker: there are only 150 of these breakfast-delivering tees, and the online-only drop goes live at midnight on Black Friday, Nov. 25.
So have your clicking finger ready, or make sure your phone battery is topped up. These shirts won’t last long.
Free Eggs, Bacon and Buttermilk Pancakes, Yum
Technically, the sale begins at midnight Eastern Time, which is 9 p.m. Pacific. Depending on your time zone, you might need to step away from the Thanksgiving leftovers to get online.
The shirts will be sold on dinerdrip.com, Denny’s official merch site where you can snag all sorts of branded items.

The international chain, which operates more than 1,600 restaurants, says the QR code will be redeemable from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2023.
Wondering what an Everyday Value Slam includes? It comes with two eggs and two bacon strips or two sausage links, plus your choice of two buttermilk pancakes, a slice of French toast, or a biscuit smothered in gravy.
In short, the Everyday Value Slam takes care of breakfast needs pretty well.
Here’s the fine print:
- Dine-in only. No online ordering, deliveries, or third-party apps allowed.
- One redemption per day. No multiple claims on the same day.
- Valid only at U.S. locations. Denny’s restaurants in Costa Rica, El Salvador, the U.K., New Zealand and Japan are excluded.
- Only one Everyday Value Tee QR code may be used per table. If you and your partner each manage to snag a tee, you’ll need separate booths to both redeem.
- No substitutions. If you’d rather have Moons Over My Hammy, that will be at your own expense.
- Your cholesterol is, as always, your responsibility.
So while you’re snagging discounted Echo Dots, Instant Pots, and robot vacuums on Black Friday, keep in mind there’s a small batch of shirts that can deliver a year’s worth of free breakfasts.
