Here’s How to Get a Free Thanksgiving Dinner at Walmart

Free Walmart Thanksgiving: How to Get a Free Meal

Holidays feel strange this year, there’s no doubt about it. With large family reunions and outside-the-bubble Friendsgivings off the table, the season just seems… different.

And while it might seem like a small blessing that we won’t have to shell out a week’s wages for a 25-pound turkey and all the trimmings — especially for the many of us facing financial strain right now — plenty of people still want to celebrate in some fashion.

Seemingly in tune with the mood across the country, a shopping rewards company called Ibotta has teamed up with Walmart to help ensure you can still enjoy your green bean casserole — and pay nothing for it. Completely free. Seriously.

There are nine items available at no cost from Walmart, including a Butterball turkey breast, stuffing mix, instant mashed potatoes, green beans and gravy. And yes, the canned cranberry sauce will make its way to your table this year.

Here’s the process to snag them: Install the Ibotta browser extension. All nine Thanksgiving deals will appear right away in your browser (or will show up in the Ibotta app within about an hour). You can order online or shop in-store using the app for the qualifying items and then receive 100% cash back after you upload a photo of your receipt.

Once you’ve accumulated $20 in cash-back, you can withdraw the funds through PayPal. (This feast totals roughly $20.)

Good news: Thanksgiving isn’t canceled this year!
